Birdella C. Braden

Ms. Braden was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration, she went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling in Education from Chicago State University. Ms. Braden entered on duty with the FBI as a Professional Support Employee on September 30, 1984. Soon after she began working for an Organized Crime squad in 1985. In 1991 she was recruited to work on special assignments for the Front Office where she worked for 3½ years. In 1995, she became the Personal Assistant and Office Manager for the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the White Collar Crime Program. In 2000, Ms. Braden was promoted to the Community Outreach Specialist position.  She is one of two Specialists for the Chicago Division and is actively engaged and involved with several ethnic, minority, community, civic and religious-based organizations, and works with several business and media leaders.  Ms. Braden is involved with the Citizens Academy and is a non-voting member of their Alumni Association’s Board of Directors.  She is a member of the iHeartMedia Chicago Local Advisory Board, the U.S. Attorney’s Offices’ Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council and the InfraGard Member Alliance, and is a Police Instructor for the field office. Ms. Braden and her family reside on the south side of Chicago.
