YNW Melly's legal troubles just got worse. A Florida appellate judge has ruled that the state can seek the death penalty against the rapper, overturning the prior ruling stating that the state could not. The original ruling was determined because the judge said state prosecutors hadn't properly notified Melly and his team. In the new ruling, the judge stated that he agreed with the state prosecutors that Melly and his team were properly notified and added that "The record contains no evidence that the defendant was prejudiced in any way." The judge also suggested that the Florida Supreme Court should rule on the case regarding the use of the death penalty.
