Harvey, Illinois has received almost $2.8 million in federal funds.
The money is to go towards helping with fire services, dilapidated properties and streetlights.
Residents have done a lot of complaining about not having streetlights so $1.5 million will go towards streetlights.
Also focusing on public safety.
