According to ABC7, access to Cloud Gate, "The bean" will be limited due to construction at Grainger Plaza. The city will be doing routine maintenance on the plaza through spring of 2024. Changes include replacing pavers, accessibility upgrades, and "enhancing the nearly 20-year-old park's appearance, visitor experience, and position as the No. 1 attraction in the midwest.
