The Shade Room has reported that Paramount has ended its auction for the popular television network, BET, due to "lowball" offers for the network. Paramount's asking price for the network, which also operates VH1, BET, and BET+, was $3 billion. The Shade Room states that reports indicate that none of the bids came close enough to the asking price, including a $2 billion bid by Tyler Perry.
