Wendy Williams Diagnosed With Frontotemporal Dementia and Aphasia

According to Variety, former talk show host Wendy Williams has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. FTD impacts the behavior and cognitive function and Alphasia impacts the communication abilities. This follows her departure from hosting her show due to ongoing health problems. Actor Bruce Williams was also diagnosed with the same type of dementia last year. The announcement was made to raise awareness about the condition, others often don't understand. The Wendy Williams Show aired from 2008 to 2021 before she stepped down. Her documentary titled " Where Is Wendy Williams?" Which was produced by Wendy herself and will air on February 24th and 25th on Lifetime.
