According to HipHopDX, Bruno Mars reportedly has $50 Million in debt with the Las Vegas MGM Casino while performing at his residency. Mars has been in partnership with MGM Resorts since 2016, and though his contract was supposed to end last August, it was extended.
Mars has never shied away when discussing his gambling ways, he has been gambling since he was 19 at his first casino, he recalled, "I remember my first bet, my hand was shaking and a guy called me out on it... you have to lose to win, to understand."
He reportedly makes $90 Million a year off performing at the MGM residency, but since he has to pay $50 Million in debt, even after taxes, Mars will still be under contract until it's paid off. Luckily, Mars residency is the highest grossing at MGM at more than $53 Million coming in.
