According to NBC 5, on May 19th, an unpleasant video was released of Sean "Diddy" Combs physically assaulting Cassie in a hallway at an LA hotel in 2016, two years before they broke up.
In the lawsuit Cassie filed, she described the incident with Diddy that he got drunk and started assaulting her, once he fell asleep she got away up to the elevator. The video shows Diddy running down the hotel hallway with a white towel around his waist, he then catches up to Cassie, throwing her to the ground and kicking her. Unfortuantly, Diddy will not be charged with the the statute of limitation passing, according to the DA.
Diddy took to Instagram to post a video of his apology, "I take full responsibility for my actions in that video... I'm disgusted, I was disgusted then, and I'm disgusted now." Cassie Lawyer said, "Combs's most recent statement is more about himself... No one will be swayed by his disingenuous words."
Many people on social media are disappointed, and prayers are pouring out for Cassie.
