According to Complex, on Sunday, May 19th, Sean "Diddy" Combs's apology video was posted on Instagram and many people on social media felt it was not genuine because Diddy never said Cassie's name throughout his apology.
The video of Diddy assaulting Cassie shocked many people, allegedly he paid the LA hotel $50,000 to delete the videotape. The assault footage shows Diddy running down the hotel hallway wearing only a white towel, and then assaulting Cassie as she tries to escape. According to TMZ, "Neither party can say the other's name publicly thanks to a strict NDA." Which explains why Diddy didn't mention her name directly in his apology video.
