According to Digital Spy, the sequel for "I Am Legend 2" is in its early development stages but the star of the movie, Michael B. Jordan, "Is really excited," to start filming.
Jordan and Will Smith will be co-staring and expressed his admiration to work with him. "Being somebody that I've looked up to a long time, to be able to work with Will is something I'm really looking forward to," Jordan said.
The sequel will follow the alt ending that's a closer adaptation of the original book conclusion. As of now there is not a release date for the film.
