According to NBC News, Jamie Foxx shared personal details about his health scare in April 2023, which left him hospitalized.

In a recent video on social media, Foxx is seen talking to people about the moment his health scare took a turn for the worse. "Bad headache. I asked my boy for an Advil... I was gone for 20 days. I don't remember anything," he said.

Foxx went into detail about his sister and daughter looking out for him while he was in Atlanta. He was going to different Doctors, where he received a shot of cortisone, and injections to treat swelling, pain, irritation, and inflammation. He shared that one of the doctors mentioned problems with his head. Foxx didn't go into any more details after that, then the video ended.

Foxx has made sure to constantly thank his daughter Corinne Foxx, and sister Deidra Dixon for saving his life.
