According to Page Six, Busta Rhymes cursed out his fans at the Essence Festival on Friday night because some of his audience members had their phones out during his performance.
"F**k them camera phones. Let's get back to interacting with humans," He continued, "I ain't from that era. Them sh** don't control all of us, F**k your phone," the rapper said.
Rhymes rant continued with him pointing out fans that were sitting down and asking them to stand up, "33 years of this sh**. I ain't used to a n**** sitting down at my show. I don't give a f**k. All age groups, get your a** up, now," he said.
However, people on social media felt like his rant was due to low ticket sales and empty seats. Others noted it was due to an ongoing rainstorm, and another audience member responded, "He put on an amazing set, my section had a ball."
