According to WSBTV, earlier Wednesday morning, Primetime Emmy announced their nominations and on that list is Usher's Super Bowl Halftime performance earning a spot this year.
He was nominated in three categories including Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special, Outstanding Variety Special (Live), and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork For A Special.
The Super Bowl premiered in Los Angeles back in February. Usher brought out special guests including Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, and Ludacris who posted about the Emmy nomination on Instagram.
