According to The Hollywood Reporter, TMZ spoke with Jonathan Majors on his thoughts about actor Robert Downey Jr. returning as MCU villain Doctor Doom instead of Major Kang's role in the next installments of the movie.

Majors has been released by Marvel following his conviction last year of reckless assault in the third degree. "I love him. I love Kang. Doctor Doom is wicked, though," he said. Majors feel his treatment is taken out of proportion when other Marvel stars had their own legal issues were taken lightly.

Avengers: Doomsday, previously Avengers: Kang Dynasty, is set to be released in theaters in May 2026.
