According to the NY Times, Travis Scott whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was released from police custody last Saturday.
Scott, who was detained on Friday (August 9th) was jailed for assaulting a security guard at a luxury hotel he was staying at in Paris.
A statement made by the office, "The case was opened on the grounds was dropped as the offense was not sufficiently sustained." Scott was visiting the Olympics when the incident occurred.
