According to People, Mariah Carey received some unfortunate news over the weekend, both her Mom Patricia and Sister Alice died on the same day.
Mariah confirmed with a statement from People, "My heart is broken that I've lost my mother this past weekend. Sadly, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life on the same day."
Mariah wishes that her privacy is respected. As of now, it is unclear how her mother and her sister passed away.
