According to USA Today, the Football Hall of Famer, Shannon Sharpe addressed his embarrassing Instagram Live, where he live-streamed only the audio of himself having sex.
Sharpe called for an urgent episode on his podcast "Nightcap," which he co-host with former Denver Broncos football player "Ochocinco" Johnson, where he apologized for an unfortunate incident involving private matters.
"Obviously I am embarrassed. Someone that is extremely, extremely, private and to have one of your most intimate details - the audio - heard for the entire world to hear, I'm embarrassed for a number of reason," Sharpe said.
Over 3.2 million people viewed it live where it was reposted on other social media platforms. After initially claiming he was hacked, he then claimed to lack knowledge of how to handle Instagram with a post and delete.
"I threw my phone on the bed, and engaged in an activity. I did not know IG Live. I never turned on IG Live so I don't know how it works and all of the sudden my other phone started going off," he said.
Sharpe made it clear that he upholds himself to a professional standard he is known for at all times.
