According to Hip Hop DX, amid the Super Bowl halftime performance controversy. The NFL and Roc Nation have extended their deal to oversee the annual show and social justice initiatives.
As reported on Tuesday, October 15th, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and the league's CEO Desiree Perez are in good standing with Jay-Z. The NFL and Hov partnered in 2019, with an initial five-year deal of $25 million.
"It's been a mutually positive relationship," Goodell said.
Since working together Jay-Z, has put black entertainers on the map for the Super Bowl, including artists like Rihanna, Beyoncé, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, who will perform in next year's show.
As of now, it's unclear how long and how much this new contract deal is signed for.
