According to Vibe, female rapper GloRilla has been dropping hits after hits on her debut album, which earned "Glorious" the highest-selling album in the first week. Her single's "TGIF" and "Hollon" sold more than 69,000 equivalent album units at No. 5 on Billboard, which is Glo's first project to reach top 10.
"When the top of the year came, I had the project basically done... I was like okay I gotta give them a mixtape before I give an album," she said. On her album, she had big features from artists including Latto, Kirk Franklin, Muni Long, Meg Thee Stallion, and more. Glo's album was supposed to be released last year but was on hold to give her fans more from the lack of her dropping music.
