According to AP News, more news about Drake and Kendrick Lamar's feud continues. It's alleged that Drake petitioned a lawsuit in a New York court on Monday against Universal Music Group falsely raised the amount of engagement on Spotify and other streaming services of Lamar's song "Not Like Us."

The claims made against the record label says they "launched a campaign to manipulate and saturate the streaming service and airwaves with a song, 'Not Like Us,' in order to make that song go viral, including by using 'bots,' and pay-to-play agreements." The filing also alleges that UMG has fired employees who favored Drake.

In response, UMG released a statement denying the allegations, "suggestion that UMG would do anything to undermine any of its artists is offensive and untrue," adding, "no amount of contrived and absurd legal arguments in this pre-action submission can mask the fact that fans choose the music they want to hear."

As of now, Spotify has declined to comment on these allegations.
