Per E!, Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian took to Twitter to express support for his wife after her appearance in the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Williams was featured crip walking in Kendrick Lamar's performance, as a reference to her 2012 Wimbledon victory against Maria Sharapova where she performed the same dance. The backlash she received at the time seemingly fueled her decision to participate in the Halftime Show, with Ohanian stating, "This is bigger than music." See the full statement below.
