According to CNN, Jay-Z has filed a defamation lawsuit against the Jane Doe that accused him of rape when she was 13, saying she was hoping for financial gain through the false claims. The lawsuit, filed in Alabama where the Jane Doe is from, also accuses her and her attorney of extortion. Her original case, accusing the rapper and his longtime associate Diddy of rape at the 2000 MTV VMAs after-party, was dropped last month.
