According to USA Today, Gayle King, along with Katy Perry and four other women, are becoming the latest civilians to travel to space today aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket. This will be the 31st launch using the New Shepard and the 11th with humans on board. No pilots or active government astronauts are onboard, instead relying on its programmed flight path and technology to make the trip.
