TMZ has stated that they've obtained new legal documents that show Cassie is trying to get the courts to deny a subpoena she was allegedly served by Diddy's legal team. The subpoena allegedly demands she turn over "all draft memoirs, autobiographies, narratives, diaries, journals, or notes... and any communications about plans to publish or threaten to publish such a document." Cassie also claims that Diddy has demanded she hand over her bank statements.
Prior, attorney Marc Agnifilo claimed that Cassie had told Diddy she had written a book about Diddy that could "catch and kill him" unless he wanted to pay her $30M for the rights to the book with the ability to prevent it from being published. Allegedly after Diddy was hesitant about the offer, she switched attorneys and in November 2023 Diddy was told the book was no longer important because a civil sex case was going to be filed.
