According to NBC News, Dawn Richard testified against Diddy in his sex trafficking trial. In her testimony, she claimed to witness physical abuse perpetrated by Diddy onto Cassie during their relationship. Cassie's ex-best friend Kerry Morgan also spoke to Diddy physical abuse against Cassie during her testimony, even saying that she herself had been attacked with a wooden hanger by Diddy before.
