According to the Chicago Sun Times, thousands gathered in Daley Plaza for the "No Kings" protest on Saturday, a series of protests held across the country to stand against President Trump's administration and their policies that people say are heading towards authoritarianism. Kathy Tolin, an organizer for the Chicago protest, stated that "this is an opportunity for Chicago to say, 'No, we don't have kings in this country. We don't want chaos and cruelty. And we don't want this country to be in the service of billionaires.'"
