James Cameron spoke with Empire about the Avatar franchise. He has almost finished production on both 'Avatar 2' and 'Avatar 3;' however, the director expressed hesitancy about helming the subsequent sequels in the franchise. Cameron also hinted that 'Avatar 2' will sport a long run, and he does not want to hear any complaints: "I don't want anybody whining about length when they sit and binge-watch [television] for eight hours...It's like, give me a f***ing break. I've watched my kids sit and do five one-hour episodes in a row."
