Young Thugrecently dropped the star-studded, โPunk.โMac Millerwas one of the many collaborators on record. He opened up about itin a recent interview.ย
โI was with Mac the day before he died. He was at my studio. We did the songโฆ This sโ's so crazy, but it's coincidental,โ Young Thug said. โHe came to the studio, did a song with me. The next day he died. And the song that we did at the studio, the name of the song is โDay Before.โโย
The song, on which Mac has a co-writing credit, is the last track on โPunk.โ He passed away in September 2018 of โmixed drug toxicityโ that included ethanol, fentanyl, and cocaine at his home in the Studio City, California.
