A Virginia mom is defending her decision to allow her 7-year-old son to dress as a member of the KKK for Halloween last week.

Jessica Black of Craigsville told local news station WHSV, the costume is a "family tradition" and that her brother wore the same costume when he was in kindergarten and again when he was 13.

Black says she stands by her decision to make the costume for her son, Jackson, and says she supports the KKK's messages.

"It's suppose to be white with white. Black with black. Man with woman and all of that," she said. "That's what the KKK stands for."
