Vegas Gunman Shot Security Guard Before Massacre

The gunman in the Las Vegas massacre shot fire at a hotel security officer at the Mandalay Bay resort about six minutes before opening fire at a concert. 

The hotel security officer name is Jesus Campos and he was shot in the leg while investigating a drilling sound in the hotel. It turns out the drilling sound was coming from the gunman's room, Stephen Paddock, and the officer was investigating it. Officials said Paddock was trying to install cameras in the hotel room to set up for the massacre. 

The hotel officer is in recovery.
