Everything you Missed from Kanye West's Sunday Service in Chicago

Kanye West brought his choir, bible, and the gospels to Chicago on Sunday, September 8th. The event was announced on Saturday at 9am and tickets became available at 11am. The tickets were free through Ticketmaster. They were gone in minutes. The show was held at Northerly Island.

The line to get into the event started at early hours of the night. Doors didn't open until 7:30am.

We got an inside scoop on the sound checks. Kanye himself even took a look at the ground setup of his show. There were 4 pianos and a handful of brass instruments set up on the concrete ground of Northerly Island.

Upon the show beginning, the choir created 3 circles around the instruments, then followed by a ring of percussion instruments. They were the human barricade that would soon separate Kanye and his 30,000+ onlookers.

Chance the Rapper was in attendance and rapped his verse in Jesus Walks. Among a few Kanye hits, the choir sang many notable hymns.

If you weren't able to be at the event, WGCI and KISS live broadcasted the entire show.
