At the request of the Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, the National Anthem was stopped during the beginning part of the game. ESPN states that the Mavericks are reportedly not interested in keeping the tradition of playing the National Anthem in the future.
Cuban had no further comment in regards to his request.
