IKEA Issues An Apology For Juneteenth Menu

While everybody was celebrating Juneteenth across the world, a Atlanta IKEA was receiving major backlash. Reports indicate that IKEA displayed a lunch menu designated for Juneteenth that was racially insensitive.

Their menu consisted of fried chicken, watermelon, mac & cheese, candid yams, and collard greens. Over 30 employees called the establishment with major complaints by calling out of work and protesting.

IKEA has finally released a full statement announcing their deepest apologies to those that they offended during this national holiday.
